Maine-ly Elder Care is proud to be an integral part of the communities we serve. We have many outreach programs designed to enhance the quality of life of the people and communities we serve. Our Community outreach programs include-
- Local blood pressure clinics at local supermarkets, this is free to the public and a registered nurse takes your blood pressure and offers information on hypertension. Please be sure to check our calendar of upcoming events for blood pressure clinics.
- Aging with Grace- Maine-ly Elder Care has a weekly radio and television segment called Aging with Grace, which provides tips to seniors and their families on how to age with grace. Tune in with our CEO, Denise Stevens RN, on 93.5 True Oldies every Wednesday afternoon at 4:30pm with Steve Colella for information on how to help you or the seniors in your life Age with Grace.
- Fundraising for community programs- Maine-ly Elder Care is proud to be involved in local fundraising efforts. Maine-ly Elder Care has provided fundraising assistance to the Kennebec Valley Community Action heating assistance program for low income families and seniors and the Mid Maine homeless shelter. Maine-ly Elder Care’s fundraising efforts helped raise much needed funds for families and seniors to help heat their homes.
